Bump in the road

My appointment on Monday went well...wait for an hour and a half to be seen for 3 minutes. Good times. 

The egg donor also had an appointment, which I was later told didn't go quite as planned. Apparently she has a cyst and has to go back this coming Monday, the 1st, to see if it has "resolved". If it has then our transfer will only be delayed by a few days, but if it's still there then we will have to cancel the cycle. Bummer. Total bummer! 

I don't know what happens after a cancelled cycle...do they remove the cyst, do my IPs try to find a new donor or what? I'm hoping I don't have to find out. 

Please keep your fingers (& toes) crossed that the cyst is gone on Monday!!! How much more could this journey stall!?! Seriously!!!!

Gettin' the party started!

We're getting closer!!! Only about 30 days until transfer!! I started Lupron on Saturday and even though, in my mind, I knew that these injections were not at all painful I still hesitated when it came to actually sticking myself in the stomach with the tiny needle! I was laughing at myself...can only imagine how the PIO injections will go :\

My last day to be on birth control (b/c) is this Thursday, the 20th. Thank GAWD! It's evil! I have the world's worst headaches while taking them and they make me nauseous! Bleh!

I go to the RE next Monday for a baseline u/s to check my lining....I'll keep you posted.
